How Billing Works
Two metrics, no surprises.
runtime
Each database is charged per hour it's active. Paused databases cost nothing. One always-on database for a 30-day month = 720 hours.
storage
Charged per GB averaged over the month. A 5 GB database for a full month = 5 GB-months.
invoicing
Usage is tracked hourly and rolled up daily. Your card is charged on the first of each month for the previous month's usage.
payment failure
If payment fails, databases pause — they are never deleted. Update your card to resume.
